| My wife found this on eBay and bought it for me as a surprise. This plan and article ran over two issues of Science and Mechanics in 1955. I actually did build this boat and got some good mileage. However, the keel got wet and split, so it's retired. I made a pattern and intend to do her again - better this time. See my build thread in the Forums. |

This is a scan of the acutal article that I own. I was alerted by shipmates on RCGROUPS of another, almost identical plan on the Uncle Willie site. Uncle Willie's has considerably more detail and is WELL worth the $5.
